If you invested $100 on the San Jose Sharks to win the Cup when the line opened at the beginning of the 08-09 NHL season you\'d be looking at a 10-1 payday. There is still value in the 7/2 odds currently being offered by Vegas books (or international sportsbooks), that same $100 investment would net you $350 if SJ wins the Cup. Considering the way they have been playing hockey of late, this is looking like a conservative investment.
The Ottawa Senators opened at 15-1, but have disappointed this year and the line reflects this moving to 35-1, a relative longshot given the talent on the Ottawa squad. The Vancouver Canucks opened at 30-1. The current line offers shorter odds, no doubt due to the stellar play of franchise goaltender, Roberto Luongo. His recent groin injury has Pacific Northwestern hockey fans holding their collective breath.

\"I asked what did you get to change your testimony, the answer was the Hall of Fame ring.\"
A key witness in O.J. Simpson’s Las Vegas trial acknowledged to a Nevada investigator that the former NFL star paid him off.
The investigator said Alfred Beardsley admitted that Simpson gave him his Hall of Fame ring in exchange for altering his testimony to help the defense.
Simpson was sentenced a week ago to nine to 33 years in prison. A jury convicted him in October of armed robbery, kidnapping and other charges stemming from a confrontation with Beardsley and another memorabilia dealer in a casino hotel room last year.
Superior Court Judge Gerald Rosenberg ordered him back to court next Friday to hand over the ring. Outside court, however, his lawyer predicted that Beardsley would be empty-handed.
“You can’t turn over what you don’t have,” said lawyer Jack Swickard.

The big news is Chicago acquiring Jay Cutler, moving their mid December future odds of 25/1 to 15/1. Cutler is the real deal and if last seasons oft-injured Chicago D can stay healthy, Chicago could take it all the way to the promised land.
The Patriots are getting the shortest odds at +485, which tells me Brady\\\'s rehab has been successful. This is not only good news for Pats fans but for all football and global sports fans. Brady is so confident and Belicheck\\\'s system just works.
